Teaching and learning
Learning is through a variety of methods incorporating lectures, field trips, laboratory based practicals, problem based learning sessions and project work. You will be assessed via a range of methods including written examinations, multiple choice questions, practical assessments,oral examinations, written assignments, practical notebooks and seminar presentations.

You will be well placed to work within science laboratories in a range of industries. You will also be able to confidently progress onto postgraduate study and research within the veterinary and animal science fields.

- GCSE: A minimum of five subjects at grade C or above including Maths, English Language and Science.
- A-level subjects: Two GCE A levels to include a Biological Science.
- Access: Achievement of the Access to HE Diploma; achievement of level 3 credits in Biological Science; achievement of level 2 credits in Maths, English Language and Science.
