If you have recently graduated and are looking to expand your knowledge of business and leadership, and boost your employability further, our PG Certificate Enterprise gives you a flexible and highly efficient way to do it.

Delivered entirely online, the course brings together the latest teaching from Bristol Business School, to deepen your business knowledge and skills, and help you get ahead in your chosen career.

Business and employability

You'll study a broad range of business and management topics from marketing and managing people, to finance, business law and project management.

Alongside this, you will learn about 'being enterprising', and develop skills such as effective decision making, leadership and resilience that we know employers are looking for in today's graduates.

You will study the following compulsory modules:

  • Being Enterprising

The University continually enhances our offer by responding to feedback from our students and other stakeholders, ensuring the curriculum is kept up to date and our graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need for the real world. This may result in changes to the course. Learning and Teaching

This course is delivered 100% online through our Blackboard virtual learning platform, which UWE graduates will already be familiar with. You will work through the online materials in each of the two modules, including lecture notes, recorded lectures, videos, online tasks and wider reading. You will also get to collaborate, and share ideas, with other students on a staff-mediated forum.

Study time

This course is worth 60 credits, which equates to 600 hours of study time. There are two start dates one at the end of October/beginning of November, and the other at the end of February/beginning of March.

It is up to you to work through the materials at your pace. The course lasts a year however, you can finish earlier if you prefer as there are three different submission dates - four months, eight months or twelve months.

Assessment

You will be assessed using a range of assessment tools, including quizzes, assignments, reflective reports and recorded presentations.

Entry requirements

We welcome applications from anyone who has completed a degree at UWE or any other university.

Places on this course are limited, and priority will be given to UWE graduates. If you are not a UWE graduate, please do apply, but please be aware that we may not be able to make you an offer of a place on the course until four weeks before the start date, depending on there being places available.
