Introduction

Our Geographic Information System (GIS) courses offer an opportunity to develop new skills, or to extend your existing GIS skills.

The short, focussed courses will introduce you to underlying principles and give you an opportunity to implement them in practical exercises.

Credit bearing courses require the completion of a piece of assessed work.

Structure

Content

This one day course will introduce attendees to spatial statistics and their value in assessing spatial distributions. It will explore spatial autocorrelation, LISA mapping and spatial regression.

Study time

9:00 and finishes at 15:00

Assessment

This is a non-credit bearing course and no assessment will be undertaken. You will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the course.
