This individual Wound care Management study day is an innovative and exciting workshop enabling the development of clinical skills and new knowledge preparing nurses for their role in general practice.
This workshop is facilitated by two very experienced wound care specialist nurses.
The morning is geared to cover wound assessment and management. The afternoon will guide you through the use of a Doppler and multi-layer bandaging.
This workshop will be held in the simulation laboratory to provide you with an opportunity to practice your skills in a safe environment prior to returning to your practice to complete your competencies.
You will be provided with a CD of resources and activities to complete prior to the Workshop to be discussed on the day.
