Introduction

Embracing current developments in the field of image interpretation, the Appendicular Skeleton study day event has been designed to meet your specific needs as staff working in/alongside the Emergency Department by consolidating and developing knowledge and skills in a true life clinical setting.

Delivered by UWE Bristol lecturers and local reporting radiographers, radiologists and Emergency Department specialists and AHPs, a variety of interactive workshops will be on offer with all tutorial sessions utilising digital radiographs.

Topics typically covered in the course syllabus:

  • Developing a robust and systematic approach
  • Evaluation of different anatomical areas (workshops) of the appendicular skeleton to include often encountered trauma appearances and potential pitfalls in interpretation
