Introduction

An increasing awareness of the behaviour of animals and their welfare, by both the animal industry and key regulatory bodies, is creating vast opportunities in this specialist area. The Animal Behaviour and Welfare degrees are designed to equip you with the knowledge and ability to work within the specific area of animal welfare; providing you with the first valuable step towards your career goals.

Content

This course focuses on animal physiology, welfare and behaviour. A range of optional subjects is also offered, enabling you to tailor your degree around your own areas of interest. Subjects as diverse as Companion Animal Behaviour and Animal Trade and Welfare are available to study within the course.

Teaching and learning
