Entry requirements
Usually applicants need to hold an undergraduate degree (or equivalent). Applicants without a degree will be required to demonstrate suitability for study at master's level.

Structure
Content
Through a lens of complexity, this level 7 (Masters level) module examines concepts of leading through uncertainty and ambiguity. The module will also examine leadership and followership in areas such as ethics, decision making, communication and innovation.
Material will also be drawn from guest speakers and examples from diverse educational backgrounds providing insights and real-world perspectives on leadership in complex educational contexts.
Learning and Teaching
This module offers a structured and engaging learning journey, guiding you towards the achievement of specific learning outcomes. The content is thoughtfully curated to facilitate active learning, peer collaboration, and accessibility.
Assessment
You'll engage in a practical application of theoretical concepts by conducting an interview with a leader in an educational setting. The interview will serve as a platform to critically evaluate real-world case studies, wherein leaders navigate challenges within their complex educational environments.
Formative assessment will be carried out throughout the module by setting regular tasks for students that will assess their grasp of the material covered. Tasks will be reviewed as part of the sessions.
