Introduction

Cultural intelligence and cross-cultural skills are often identified as key skills for future leaders. Whilst working in a culturally diverse team can be a puzzling and challenging experience, the capacity to adapt and work effectively across cultures is often taken for granted, especially in a multicultural environment.

In this interactive workshop, we will challenge our definitions of culture(s), cultural identity, unconscious biases, and pre-conceptions. We will also explore how the concept of cultural intelligence can help managers to navigate the intricacies of cross-cultural communication and leverage cultural diversity. Finally, we will develop our capacity to bridge cultures to create a more inclusive and innovative workplace.
