Cultural intelligence and cross-cultural skills are often identified as key skills for future leaders. Whilst working in a culturally diverse team can be a puzzling and challenging experience, the capacity to adapt and work effectively across cultures is often taken for granted, especially in a multicultural environment.
In this interactive workshop, we will challenge our definitions of culture(s), cultural identity, unconscious biases, and pre-conceptions. We will also explore how the concept of cultural intelligence can help managers to navigate the intricacies of cross-cultural communication and leverage cultural diversity. Finally, we will develop our capacity to bridge cultures to create a more inclusive and innovative workplace.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Who is it for?
The workshop is particularly relevant for expats, leaders and managers who would like to develop their capacity to thrive in a culturally diverse environment.
What will I get out of it?
Workshop structure
The workshops are interactive and experiential. We will create a safe and friendly learning space where all participants can talk openly about their experience of working and living in a multicultural environment. It is vital that participants commit to all sessions so that we can create a community of practice as a group. There is no assessment attached to the workshops.
