Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this module students will achieve the following learning outcomes:

  • Critically analyse the role of BIM for building and asset operation and maintenance
  • Assess BIM Facilities Management (FM) integration
  • Apply BIM for system control
  • Apply BIM for space tracking
  • Use BIM for asset management
  • Apply BIM for maintenance management
  • Apply BIM for existing conditions modelling
  • Produce condition documentation
  • Work as part of a team
