Introduction

Our Skills Bootcamp in Embedding Organisational Sustainability is designed for business leaders, managers, decision makers and professionals looking to address the implications of sustainability challenges for their organisation or workplace whilst growing business performance and building organisational behavioural change.

With 5.5 million SMEs comprising 99% of UK enterprises, employing 61% of the workforce, and generating £2.4 trillion in revenue (gov.uk), it is vital for organisations to minimise their carbon emissions. However, while most businesses agree that climate action is morally right, will improve brand reputation and help their business stand out from competitors, two-thirds lack the necessary in-house skills and knowledge with 40% of UK SMEs lack a sustainability plan and 88% of those with fewer than 50 staff have no dedicated sustainability in-house resource.

Building on the successes of UWE Bristol’s Skills for Clean Growth programme, this Skills Bootcamp will deliver the sustainability skills needed to support you in developing strategies to implement change necessary in your organisation to meet net-zero targets and build a sustainable organisational culture.
