Introduction

Digital coaching is becoming a mainstream intervention on organisations and is expected to continue to grow in the future (ICF, 2022; Passmore, 2023). In this context, it is important to explore the specificities, challenges and opportunity that may emerge when coaching is delivered online.

This masterclass explores the specificities, challenges tools and techniques necessary for coaches who are delivering or are planning to deliver their services in a digital environment. 

 

Objective:

The objective of this session is to expand the education of professional coaches and mentors by raising their awareness, readiness and enhance their coaching portfolio to become an effective digital coach.

Entry requirements

This workshop would primarily benefit professional qualified coaches experienced in coaching, with or without experienced in delivering coaching online. It is also recommended for HR and L&D managers interested in deploying digital coaching in their organisation.

  • Defining digital coaching 
  • AI, machine learning and VR in coaching

 

      2. Tools and techniques for digital coaching

  • To protect data, security and privacy
  • To manage the coaching process
  • To enhance the coaching relationship

 

      3. The opportunities and challenges of digital coaching

  • Efficacy of digital coaching: what research says?
  • Full automation or complementarity human-machine
  • Democratisation of coaching
  • Ethical challenges and limitations
