Typical offers
You will need to meet the following Level 2 requirements:
- GCSE: Grade C/4 in English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
In addition to the above Level 2 qualifications, you'll need to achieve the published tariff points from your Level 3 studies prior to entry. Below is an indicative list of the main qualification types. However, we will consider any Level 3 qualifications towards meeting our entry requirements.

International and EU applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*).

Structure
Content
The optional modules listed are those that are most likely to be available, but they may be subject to change.
Year one
You'll study:
- Business and Economic Environments
- Entrepreneurial Decision Making
- Principles of Marketing
- Professional Knowledge: Management and Leadership Perspectives
- Using Financial Information for Business.
Year two
You'll study:
- Leadership and Change in a Contemporary Context
- Professional Skills: Researching Management and Leadership Practices
- Strategy, Innovation, and Operations
- Perspectives on Social and Organisational Behaviour
- Applied Human Resource Management.
Sandwich year (if applicable)
If you study on the four year (sandwich) course, you'll spend a year away from the University on either a work placement or a study year abroad after Year two. Depending on which you choose, you'll either complete a placement learning or learning and development on Study Year Abroad module, as appropriate.

Final year
You'll study:

- Professional Development: Leading Change Consultancy.
Plus, one optional module from:

*Neither of these modules will be available to study, if you complete the sandwich placement or study year abroad.
The University continually enhances our offer by responding to feedback from our students and other stakeholders, ensuring the curriculum is kept up to date and our graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need for the real world. Learning and Teaching
You'll learn through a mix of workshops, group activities, case studies, live briefs and classroom-based learning.
Teaching combines theory with practical application, helping you understand how organisations operate and respond to challenges.
You'll work with other students, debate current business issues and learn from researchers and industry professionals with experience across a range of sectors.
The course also includes opportunities to reflect on your personal and professional development, helping you understand your leadership style and build confidence in your abilities.

Study time
Students typically receive around 12 hours of scheduled teaching each week. This is supported by independent study, group work, self-directed learning and time working with peer coaches and personal tutors.
The course is available full time. You can choose to study over three years, or four years with a placement year.
Assessment
Assessment reflects the types of tasks you'll encounter in professional environments and is designed to help you develop a broad range of skills.
You'll complete assessments such as reports, presentations, posters, portfolios and group projects. You'll also present your work in a range of formats, including infographics, podcasts and exhibitions.
This varied approach allows you to develop skills in communication, teamwork, analysis and problem-solving while demonstrating your learning in different ways.

Placements
You can choose to take a placement year between your second and final year, giving you the opportunity to gain paid industry experience and apply your learning in a professional setting.
You'll also have opportunities to study overseas on courses that are taught in English and relevant to your degree. The study year abroad is not a paid placement.
Students are selected for this through a competitive process.
